【劇情簡介】：

    在新登場的第七季中，導演延續了其經久不衰的超人題材，而幾名主要角色的生活和戰鬥劇情，也將該劇打造成了一部動作大片。在本季中，Clark Kent （Tom Welling飾，代表作《兒女一籮筐》）和Lex Luthor（Michael Rosenbaum飾，代表作《街舞新曲》）之間的關係急轉直下，成為勢不兩立的敵人，而這一情節在超人漫迷中廣為人知，也備受推崇。

   第七季還邀請了另外幾名超人扮演者友情客串，為該劇增色不少，比如觀眾所熟悉的Dean Cain （電視劇《超人》扮演者）和Helen Slater （《女超人》扮演者），加之原著中精彩的故事情節，定能讓觀看者激動不已。

   本季中Clark將揭示更多關於其故鄉星球的秘密，他的身生父母究竟是誰，他的未來旅途將會如何，以及他為什麼被送到了地球。

   在上一季的末尾，Lana (Kristin Kreuk, "悲戀印巴")向Lex質問他的謊言，並坦呈她仍深愛著Clark，為此她決意離開Lex。 Lana之後轉向Clark尋求安慰，卻被Lionel（John Glover飾, "硫磺"）脅迫嫁給Lex，Clark一路追踪Lionel並徹底粉碎了他的陰謀。正在此時，Martian Manhunter （由Phil Morris友情出演）現身，他向Clark解釋道Lionel並非敵人，而是同伴。他們的目的是阻止Lex找到Phantom Zone監獄的最後一名逃亡者，Lex妄圖獲取wraith的DNA以製造他的超人軍隊。與此同時，為了摧毀Lex，Lois （Erica Durance飾，"蝴蝶效應2"）決定實施自己的行動方案。當她在Lex的基地Reeves水壩周圍探查情報時，不幸遇上基地警衛並受到攻擊，奄奄一息之際她向Chloe（Allison Mack飾，"別惹螞蟻"）發出求救，姍姍來遲的Chloe找到了彌留的Lois，心灰意冷的Chloe抱住了Lois，並釋放了自己的潛在能量。 Lois被治癒了，而Chloe卻因轉嫁了Lois的致命傷而死亡。 Lana在離鎮時所駕的車輛發生爆炸，警方在Lex的基地以謀殺的罪名逮捕了Lex。為了向Clark發起攻擊，wraith創造了Clark最強大的敵人--Bizarro。兩名超人的終極決鬥將Reeves水壩付之一炬，大水襲來，每個人都危在旦夕。

   在這一季中Clark將面臨有史以來最艱難的挑戰。 Bizarro是專為摧毀Clark而製造的，因此勢必要鬥個你死我活；可怕的事故奪去了Clark的摯愛；Clark的養母Martha (Annette O'Toole飾, "超人II")離開了華盛頓；而最大的考驗則來自Clark19歲的姐姐，女超人Kara（新人Laura Vandervoort飾）。

   水壩被破壞時，Kara的飛船受到衝擊飛離了地球。少女Kara為照看被送到地球的弟弟Kal-El而離開了Krypton星。在飛船中Kara停止了生長，因此到達地球後，反而被已長大成人的弟弟照料。 Kara對地球文化非常迷戀，且時不時忘記隱藏自己的超能力。她的年輕衝動數次將她置於危險的境地，最終被Lex的雷達暴露所在。

   Lana的死使得Lex重新審視自己的生活。他自願入獄服刑，開始幫助他人，秘密軍隊也被解散。但他開始關注kara和她的飛船，儘管他尚未意識到兩者的關聯。與此同時，Lex與Lionel仍維持著尷尬的父子關係。他們互相猜疑，Lex很清楚Lionel向自己隱瞞了許多消息，並且參與了摧毀秘密軍隊的行動。兩人不遺餘力地與對方周旋，期待著某一方沉不住氣，從而終止兩人的父子關係。

   Lois Lane對Lex的悔過自新仍抱著懷疑態度。在秘密軍隊對她的親友造成巨大傷害後，Lois便發誓要擊潰億萬富翁Lex。 Lois的事業也蒸蒸日上，新上任的星球日報主編Grant Gabriel (Michael Cassidy友情出演)非常賞識她積極的工作態度，並聘她為星球日報的明星記者。儘管在記者生涯上大展手腳，Lois卻為自己搶了Chloe的風頭而心生愧疚。

   對Chloe而言，與Lois的競爭失敗並非最糟的事。她一邊費力幫助Clark隱藏身份，一邊要向Jimmy(Aaron Ashmore飾, "聖誕小屋")隱瞞自己新生的超能力，她害怕Jimmy一旦獲知真相便會棄她而去。然而，Chloe一再推遲調查報告的行為，以及她和Clark的關係，使得Jimmy對兩人的感情產生了懷疑，轉而對Kara衍生好感。儘管Chloe在過去幾年中一直鼓勵Clark向Lana表明自己的真實身份，然而當自己面臨同樣處境時，她卻無法向Jimmy坦呈自己已被感染，唯恐Jimmy因此拋棄自己。
