I somehow got a feeling the Sir Alex will try to purchase another one or two players actually.
I think Ashley Young is very unlikely (I can't see Villa letting him go) ...
It is very likely the new players are to be some "unknown" youngsters I guess.

I think we already have enough players in the first team to compete against the best team in the world. Yet, SAF will buy one or two players, but all of them will be youngsters or players that won't be in the starting lineup. Manchester United have completed the signing of Senegalese striker Mame Biram Diouf from Molde F.K.
The 21-year-old passed a medical in Manchester this week, and has completed his transfer. As agreed, he will now be loaned back to Molde F.K until January 2010.
Mame becomes the Reds' fourth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Antonio Valencia, Michael Owen and Gabriel Obertan.
He has scored 38 times in 73 appearances for Norwegian side Molde to date, including an impressive tally of 17 goals from 21 games so far this season.
