Big does not mean its livable. How sad for Jakarta and Mumbai. Not sure about Mexico, to me its not desirable.

Are they really the World's Ten Biggest Metropolitan Areas (cities)? If you tell me to pick a city from them to live, I will pick Tokyo Japan. I don't know why. I love Japan since I visit there years ago.

I know HK's on the most densely populated per sq meter list.

Are they really the World's Ten Biggest Metropolitan Areas (cities)?

The parameters are based on size and population density, am I am sure HK is one of the most densily populated city, but in terms of size, HK is too small to be counted as a metropolis though.
Big has nothing to do with the quality of life there either. I think Vienna is still the most livable city. I know of someone who goes there for 2-3 weeks every years, what a good choice.
