The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. Then there is the famous Sydney Opera House taken from the western side. ; r7 g% V3 g2 x" `Followed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season. 8 X1 U/ t( G4 k, mwww1.tvboxnow.comThen there are the Bondi Beach, if you venture to the eastern side, well, there you will find a lot of women sunbaking topless; no fuss, as men do it all the time.) ` I0 Q$ Z7 @/ t0 j1 c
Then we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Great fish and chips shops, cafes, and restaurants. Nice fishing spot too. " k, |3 k: P- Y& O
Here we are back to Sydney at the St Andrew's Cathedral, an Anglican church next to the Sydney townhall. J X; S# w# _% {" I5 I: t; m; [
The last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop. A very nice shopping arcade.tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb4 U' c4 }; C) g; P0 }4 T2 e. _
