Uruguay international Recoba signs for Panionios
ATHENS, September 6 (Super League) - Uruguay international Alvaro Recoba has signed for Panionios, the club has announced.
The32-year-old former Internazionale winger is expected in Athens onSunday night to finalise the move after agreeing a lucrative two-yeardeal.
"Panionios is pleased to announced that Alvaro Recoba hasagreed a two-year deal, which will be filed with the Super League onMonday," said a statement on the club's website.
"The player is expected in Greece on Sunday evening."
Recoba spent last season on loan at Torino after falling out of favour at Inter.
He has been capped 69 times by his country and played at the World Cup in 2002. |
