簡介：

北宋大文豪蘇東坡（歐陽震華飾），因未能對亡妻忘懷，故對王閏之（萬綺雯飾）的愛意視若無睹。但嗜吃的他最終被廚藝了得的閏之以「燉肥豬肉」觸動心靈，遂結為夫妻。東坡以為婚後生活美滿，家庭和睦，奈何各樣家事卻把他纏繞得頭昏腦脹！既害怕蘇小妹（黃心穎飾）被風流才子秦少游（王浩信飾）所騙，又擔憂蘇大妹（楊詩敏飾）對「河東獅吼」柳月娥（陳煒飾）的丈夫陳季常（泰臣飾）未能忘情；為拯救因正直不阿，屢受政敵壓迫的弟弟蘇轍（歐瑞偉飾）而疲於奔命；又要令兒子蘇邁（林詠渝飾）接受新娘親閏之，更要應付各種夫妻危機…除了家事外，東坡亦要面對朝廷上的明爭暗鬥：既要應付郡主（李亞男飾）的橫蠻刁難，又與政見不同的丞相王安石（單立文飾）唇槍舌劍，更要想各種新奇方法令皇帝（張頴康飾）納諫。及後東坡雖以「流民圖」令安石罷相，卻不知不覺又捲入遼國間諜琴操危害大宋的陰謀。更始料不及的是，琴操（馬賽飾）其中一位手下原來是自己家人，更意欲挑撥自己和閏之關係！雖然東坡最終搗破種種陰謀，令大宋皇朝得以保全，皇帝卻對他日漸猜忌，竟借機誣告東坡寫反詩，誓要將他置於死地…
