German Bundesliga-Monchengladbach sign U.S. midfielder Bradley

MONCHENGLADBACH, September 1 (Bundesliga) - Borussia Monchengladbach havecompleted the signing of USA midfielder Michael Bradley after he passed amedical on Monday.
                                                                                               
The 21-year-old has signed a four-year deal with the Bundesliga new boys afterjoining from Eredivisie outfit Heerenveen.
Monchengladbach coach Jos Luhukay had been keen to strengthen his squad toavoid an immediate return to the second division.
He told the club's official website, www.borussia.de: 'He is strong incombination play and makes important runs off the ball. Michael is also a goalthreat from midfield.'
Bradley travelled to Germany on Monday, having already agreed personal termswith Monchengladbach.
The two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee on Saturday night, but the playerremained with Heerenveen for their Eredivisie fixture with Volendam on Sunday.
Bradley's arrival takes the number of Monchengladbach players with Eredivisieexperience to six.
'We know this league and its players best,' added Dutchman Luhukay. 'We havea very positive picture of Michael.'
Bradley added: 'I know that Borussia has a great history and superb fans.
'I can help out in attacking and defensive midfield and want to display myfighting qualities.'
Bradley, who scored an impressive 15 goals in 33 games for Heerenveen lastseason, has played 22 times for the USA national team.
He could make his Bundesliga debut against Hannover on September 14 after hereturns from international duty with the USA.
