this is for people who buy cheap tires, and want to be cheap by buying only 2 tires instead of 4. If you put new tire in the back, while older tires in the front.  You will always be changing 2 tires at a time, because your front will go bad much faster than the back tire.  my opinion is put 2 new tire in front, so you can wear out all 4 tires about the same time, given that with precaution when entering flooded corners.   the moral of the story if you are not professional drifter, then buy the best traction tire which you can afford, and if there is a time to only change 2 tires in backside, your older tires are still good enough to avoid sliding.
