what a pity that there is not much progress about chasing Red John
i think it may because the story put a lot of stress on the character, making John as the only enemy of Jane and his fds, which means, once Red John is caught, Jane has nothing big to do and the story ends. So, in order not to end the series, the producers did create a lot of irrelevant plots rather than mentioning dear John :(
