Yes, I admire the widow about her love to her unfortunate husband.  But quite frankly, it is important to proof to the child that the baby is actually the claimed husband.  I would get him to the DNA test just to prove those who suspect were wrong !   The baby can therefore live happily and grow up without any doubt !
