What's wrong with the word "Chinese"? The word "Chinese" has multiple implications, just like any other words like "English" , "German" and "French"~~~ When you are in a place where majority of the public speaks Cantonese (which is a local dialect of Chinese), asking a person to "Speak Chinese" means you want that person to speak in that local dialect, i.e. Cantonese in this case! , t) @/ h% g9 H2 D4 g

I think your interpretation of "Chinese" being just a human race is far too superficial ~~~ ! {3 |' h3 C( Y6 ?* m, u8 k
